She went to Beverly Hills High School and is a Presbyterian. She has been in over 40 films from the 1940s through the 1950s. She was called the Queen of Technicolor because her fair complexion combined with her red hair blended well when captured in Technicolor.Her first credited role was in the film Spellbound in 1945. She appeared in Abilene Town, Adventure Island, The Spiral Staircase and Out of the Past. She appeared with Bing Crosby in the musical A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court, singing When Is Sometime and Once and For Always, a duet with Crosby.Rhonda played the role of Cleopatra in the Serpent of the Nile and appeared in 3-D films Those Redheads from Seattle and Inferno in 1953. These were followed by other films including Slightly Scarlet, The Big Circus, While the City Sleeps, Gunfight at the O.K. Corral and Waiting for the Wind in 1990. Rhonda starred as a guest on television shows from the 1950s to the 1960s like on the shows The Best of Broadway, Shower of Stars, Death Valley Days, Burke’s Law, McMillian and Wife, Kung Fu, The Killer Is Loose, The Red Skelton Show, The Buster Keaton Story, Ellery Queen, Alias Jesse James, The Investigators, The Dick Powell Show, Wagon Train, The Virginian, The Patsy, Police Woman, The Nude Bomb, Won Ton Ton, the Dog Who Saved Hollywood, The Love Boat and Follow the Sun. She has a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame. Rhonda is currently married to her sixth husband, Darol Wayne Carlson.Rhonda released her album, Rhonda, in 1958 which included songs like Love Me or Leave Me, Around the World and I’ve Got You Under My Skin. After she retired, she served with organizations and charities and founded the Rhonda Fleming Mann Clinic for Women’s Comprehensive Care in 1991.
